Jazzbot
Jazzbot is an old concept of Mike Brady's, who first considered the implications of a world in which robos could play the saxophone. In 2007 Patrick Mundy agreed it was a concept worth investigating. A simple skeletal form of a saxophonist had been built, and Mundy began work toward a robotic hand. Charles Hart finished work on a robotic hand capable of playing several notes in late 2007, and a proper embouchure is still in development.
